Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how THINKNBOX Inc. (“THINKNBOX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit our websites, watch our free training, submit a form, or interact with our ads.
By using our sites or submitting your information, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please don’t use our sites or submit your details.
1. Who we are
THINKNBOX Inc. is a restaurant-marketing company based in Ontario, Canada. We provide free educational training, marketing services, and the RestoCliq software for restaurant owners. We are the “data controller” responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details you submit through our forms — typically your name, business/restaurant name, email address, and phone number.
- Booking details when you schedule a call (your name, contact info, and any notes you provide).
- Communications you send us by email, text, or other channels.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, referring URLs, and time spent, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Advertising & analytics identifiers — including data from the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and similar tools (see Section 6).
3. How we use your information
- Deliver the free training and give you access to the class video.
- Respond to you, schedule calls, and provide the services you request.
- Send you related emails and text messages (with your consent — see Section 5).
- Measure, operate, and improve our sites, content, and offers.
- Create, deliver, and measure advertising (including with Meta).
- Protect against fraud and misuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
4. Legal bases & how we rely on consent
Where required by law, we rely on your consent (for marketing messages and non-essential cookies), on the performance of a service you requested, on our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business, and on compliance with legal obligations.
5. Email, SMS & marketing consent
When you submit a form or opt in, you consent to receive communications from us by email, SMS/text, and phone about the training, related offers, and our services. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
- Email: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- SMS/text: reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
We honor opt-out requests promptly and in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and other applicable laws. We never sell your phone number or email address.
6. Advertising, the Meta Pixel & analytics
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and use the Meta Pixel and/or the Meta Conversions API to understand how our ads perform, to measure conversions, and to show relevant ads. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, browser/device data, the pages and actions you take on our sites, and — where you submit it — hashed contact information used for ad matching and measurement.
This information may be shared with Meta and processed by Meta in accordance with its own policies. To learn how Meta uses data and to control the ads you see, visit Meta’s Privacy Policy and your Meta Ad Preferences. You can also manage interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada.
We may use additional analytics tools to understand site traffic and improve our content.
7. Cookies & tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to run our sites, remember preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the sites work. Where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
8. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:
- Service providers who operate on our behalf — for example, our CRM and form provider (GoHighLevel / Flownify), email and SMS delivery providers, scheduling tools, hosting (Vercel), and video hosting (YouTube).
- Advertising & analytics partners such as Meta, as described in Section 6.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, users, and the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
9. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When it’s no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of marketing or certain data uses. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond as required by applicable law, including Canada’s PIPEDA and, where applicable, the GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws.
11. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Third-party links & services
Our sites link to and embed third-party services (such as YouTube, RestoCliq, and our booking tool). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service you use.
13. Children’s privacy
Our sites and services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province or state.
14. International visitors
We operate from Canada. If you access our sites from outside Canada, your information may be processed in Canada and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from yours.
